We track 55+ institutional investors, corporate insiders, US Congress members, and independent AI-focused KOLs. This page spells out where every piece of data comes from, how we process it, and what we filter out.
Every AI-tagged ticker maps to one or more of the six layers below. Broad-line companies span multiple layers — e.g. NVDA sits in both Chip and Infra.
Semiconductors, GPUs, accelerators, fab equipment. E.g. NVDA, AMD, AVGO, ASML, TSM.
Cloud compute, networking gear, hyperscaler datacenter capex. E.g. MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL (Cloud), ANET, CRWV.
Foundation-model labs and research-led product companies. E.g. GOOGL (DeepMind), META (Llama), MSFT (OpenAI partnership).
Productized AI surfaces sold to consumers or enterprises. E.g. AAPL (Apple Intelligence), CRM, NOW, TEAM.
Power, real estate, cooling, materials — the physical substrate AI infra runs on. E.g. VST, CEG, EQIX, CCJ.
Self-driving, humanoid robotics, industrial robotics, eVTOL, space. E.g. TSLA (FSD/Optimus), ISRG (surgical robotics), DE (autonomous farm equipment), ACHR/JOBY (eVTOL).
Six sources in total. The overview table below gives the shape at a glance; each source is then broken down into what it is, where we pull it from, what we keep, and what we filter out.

What is 13F-HR? A quarterly holdings report required by the US SEC. Any investment manager with more than $100M in AUM must file it within 45 days of quarter-end, disclosing every long US-equity position they hold, including share count and market value.
We track the 13F-HR of 55+ investors, pulled directly from SEC EDGAR and parsed with edgartools 5.35. See the full investor list at /investors.
What are 13G and 13D? When an investor crosses a 5% stake in any US-listed equity, they must file with the SEC. The two forms differ by intent:
After crossing 5%, an investor has 5-10 days to file. Material subsequent changes (typically ≥1 percentage point) require an amendment.
Why ARK gets its own bucket. ARK Investment Management (Cathie Wood's shop) is one of very few large asset managers that publishes full holdings daily. After every US trading day close, they publish a CSV on their site listing all holdings and trades for each ETF.
What is Form 4? The SEC's disclosure form for corporate insider trades. Who counts as an insider? Company directors, senior officers, and 10%+ owners. When they buy or sell their own company's stock, they must file with the SEC within 2 business days — publicly visible.
Why it matters. Insiders know more about their company's true state than any outside investor. A CFO dumping shares — or a CEO buying with real cash on the open market — carries genuine signal.
What we filter out. We keep only trades that reflect a live view, and drop the following structural transactions:
What is the STOCK Act? A 2012 US law — the Stop Trading on Congressional Knowledge Act. All sitting members of Congress (Senate + House), plus their spouses and dependent children, must publicly disclose stock trades within 45 days of execution. The disclosure form is called a PTR (Periodic Transaction Report).
Why it matters. Members of Congress see information the public doesn't — through legislation, hearings, and appropriations committees. Their families' US-equity trades are the closest publicly trackable proxy to a policy-inside signal.
$1,001–$15,000, $15,001–$50,000, $50,001–$100,000, all the way up to $50M+. No exact figure is required. We store the range as filed, without midpoint imputation, to avoid false precision. Why this category exists. 13F, Form 4, and PTR are all backward-looking filings — by the time you see the data, the position may be 45+ days old. Real-time KOL discussion on social platforms is the closest signal to what's being discussed right now, and we use it as a leading complement to the filings-based data.
We track a set of independent AI-investing voices (Serenity is the main one we follow). Their original posts on X / Reddit / Xiaohongshu are captured and archived.
How each post is processed. Claude reads the full post and extracts three things:
Some institutions disclose option positions on 13F-HR. In the holdings table, puts and calls both get explicit badges and are grouped into a separate Hedges & Tactical Bets section.
The AI Total aggregate treats them like this: puts are excluded (they're short exposure, not long AI conviction), and calls are also excluded from the main AI total — they only show up in Hedges & Tactical Bets.
We do not adjust for Greeks, expiration date, or notional value. Everything is surfaced at face value, as disclosed to the SEC.
